Two images pulled from the archives that highlight a cold night in Lethbridge as the snow started to fall. A plow truck tailing behind the car I’m shooting from, and snowflakes falling on the parking lot at the UofL. The light posts used to match the architecture of the university. A detail that was not worth preserving over the years of renovations on campus.
The West Bow River Bridge twinning project currently being built by Flatiron and Aecon, tendered at a cost of $89 million and scheduled for completion in Fall 2022.

While photographing architecture in Calgary, I spent some time documenting COCO, a contemporary residential project designed by FAAS Architecture in the city’s Marda Loop neighborhood. The four-storey building stands out through its clean lines, modern materials, and careful attention to scale, demonstrating how higher-density housing can be integrated into an established urban community. The project was designed to provide modern urban living while contributing to the continued growth and evolution of one of Calgary’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
