Daily Photo Dose

I grew up wandering the coulees of Lethbridge, Alberta—exploring back alleys, crossing train bridges, and chasing spring storms rolling across the prairie. Long before photography became a profession, those adventures became an excuse to pay closer attention to the places around me. What began as curiosity eventually turned into a camera in my hands and a desire to document the landscapes, architecture, and everyday moments that make a place unique.

I learned photography on film and spent countless hours exploring Southern Alberta with a camera. Landscapes, cityscapes, roadside architecture, and life on the Canadian prairies became the subjects that shaped the way I see and photograph the world today. As my career evolved into architectural and commercial photography, I wanted to maintain a space dedicated to personal work and visual exploration.

That space became Daily Photo Dose.

Since 2010, Daily Photo Dose has served as an ongoing photographic journal, documenting the places I’ve traveled, the architecture I’ve encountered, and the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. From medium format film photography on a Pentax 67 to panoramic images made with a Widelux camera, the blog continues to challenge me to slow down, remain curious, and create photographs wherever I find myself.

While the photographs span continents, cities, and landscapes, the spirit of Daily Photo Dose can still be traced back to those early days exploring the Lethbridge coulees with a camera. The project remains rooted in a simple idea: every day offers an opportunity to see something familiar in a new way.
