Notre Dame Cathedral Gargoyle

My brother Joey and his girlfriend Jamie are traveling Europe right now, and I thought they would make great (over seas) guest bloggers! Here’s one of their recent photos from Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

Mahjong at The Chinese National League

leave a comment

With the almost imminent demolition of The Chinese National League building set for later this week, I’ve been making an effort to document this historical building before it’s gone. Late this afternoon I photographed four of the leagues members playing mahjong in the main hall. Even though the building sits without power or heat, the members were willing to come sit around the table and document a memory. Thank you to everyone involved in today’s last minute photo shoot.

I saw this while driving down Whoop-Up Drive, and pulled over into the tiny shoulder of the merge lane to shoot a few quick photos. Click the panoramic photo to enlarge.

Chinese National League Building

I heard in the news today that the Chinese National League building will most likely be demolished. So I had to go out and capture this photo tonight before its too late. It’s sad to see Lethbridge demolish so much of its history.

Fall Storm

We haven’t had a major snow fall yet, but over the last few weeks we’ve had some brief 10 minute blasts of snow… This was shot just after a brief snowfall.
