I just got back from a house boating trip out on Koocanusa lake. The stars were incredible out there! This is a thirty minute star trial I exposed last night.

Montana Alberta Tie Ltd and MATL LLP (MATL) are respectively Canadian and US based entities that are constructing the Montana Alberta Tie line, a 214-mile (345-kilometer), 230-Kilovolt transmission line that will interconnect the electricity markets of Alberta and Montana. Today’s shot was taken at the far end of Riverstone on the west. It was mosquito heaven so I didnt stick around too long, but was able to get this shot before running back to my car.

Sabrina saw lightning out in the distance last night, so we grabbed gear and went out to shoot. Who knew this would be the most epic lightning storm we’ve seen hit Lethbridge in a long time!
