Midnight – Highlevel Bridge
Shot this image of the highlevel bridge around midnight at the Elizabeth Hall Wetlands in the Lethbridge riverbottom. The gates to the park are closed and locked at 10:30pm. They were open at midnight so I drove in and parked. After shooting photos for 20 minutes I came back to a notice on my car that I had been locked in! After a few phone calls, myself and another photographer, got through to someone to come unlock the gate. 40 minutes later we were out. Two lessons: 1. don’t park in gated areas even if they are unlocked passed their closed time. 2. Consider carrying bolt cutters in the trunk? haha
Highlevel Bridge Lights
I recently found a few old photos from 2009 that I never posted of the highlevel bridge in Lethbridge with lights. Thought I should share them.

It’s important to note this was shot with a 1500mm lens, approximately 2kms away. This photo was shot no where near the tracks.
